Live solo performer and accompanist.
I highly recommend Shoko Wolfson as a talented piano teacher for children ages 3-18. I have observed her teaching for the past several years and would describe her teaching style as a mix of instruction and fun, with a focus on fundamental skills. She follows the pace of her students with individualized instruction according to their skills and personality. She is kind, patient, and gives lots of positive enforcement. As part of her instruction, she hosts casual at-home recitals.

Shoko Wolfson is a professionally trained pianist with perfect pitch and a wide classical and pop repertoire. Her interpretations of French and German composers are especially sensitive. I have heard her perform at public and private concerts and in several concerts hosted in my home; she performs with great poise and grace and would be a lovely asset for weddings and larger social gatherings.

Shoko Wolfson was born in Japan and started playing the piano at age three. Her formative years included music and harmony theory from an aunt who was a composer. Shoko later graduated from a music high school in her hometown and went on to complete a Bachelor's in Piano Performance from a university in North Carolina. She has extensive experience performing both solo and as an accompanist in Japan and the United States.
